For early acceptance consideration, all application materials and test scores must be submitted by November 1, 2016. Final Application deadline is March 1, 2017.
You must first complete the Harper College application. Make note of your Harper ID number, it is required for your Engineering Pathways application. The Harper ID number begins with “H” and is followed by eight digits.
• Complete the Harper application
. This page also includes information on Financial Aid and Scholarships; however, please disregard any instructions on placement testing and orientation.
• Have your official high school transcripts sent directly to Harper College.
• Have your ACT scores sent directly to Harper College.
• Complete the online Engineering Pathways application found on the next page. Please make sure to complete all fields.
• Take your required ALEKS placement tests (Math) and Compass placement tests (Reading and Writing).
-- All students must complete the ALEKS and Compass placement tests as part of the application process. There are no exemptions for Engineering Pathways applicants based on ACT scores. It is suggested that you allow 2.5 hours to complete all of the testing. -- All testing takes place at the Harper College Testing and Assessment Center located in Building A, Room A148. No appointments are necessary, you may walk in to take your exams, allowing enough time to complete the testing before the Center closes. You will need a photo ID to take your tests. Please identify yourself as an Engineering Pathways applicant when you arrive at the center.
Testing office hours are Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Hours vary on holidays and semester breaks.
NOTE: All of the above components must be completed and all materials must be received by the deadline dates indicated in order for your application to be considered.
